Appletree Answers Turned A Young Girl’s Dream Into Reality This Holiday Season

Santa’s Answering Service stirred up holiday excitement again this year for children of all ages who wished to leave a special message for Santa Claus.

Appletree Answers, an answering service and call center company, set up a toll free number for children to talk with a live person acting as one of Santa's elves. Each caller was encouraged to leave three wish list items for Santa’s elves to deliver to Santa at the North Pole.

Appletree had more than 600 jolly experts who were available 24/7/365 to deliver messages to Santa. This year Santa’s Answering Service answered over 22,000 calls, an increase of 1200% from 2010.

On December 14, 2011, Jessica the Elf answered a call that would highlight the true spirit of the holidays. A little girl, named Jackie, called to ask Santa for a few toys on her wish list, but her special message that she wanted to leave for Santa was her true wish for the holidays.

Jackie explained to Jessica the Elf that her friend in a nearby elementary school was born with cancer and her wish was for Santa to make his Christmas extra special this year. While keeping her composure, Jessica promised the message would make its way to Santa.

After the call ended, Jessica the Elf promptly jumped into action. On Jackie’s behalf, she submitted her wish of making the little boy’s Christmas extra special to the Appletree Answers employee Dream On program. The Dream On committee granted Jessica’s dream immediately. After some research, Appletree was able to call Jackie and her family back to give them the good news that her friend David was going to have the special Christmas she wished for. Meanwhile, elves Nathan and Jerri Anne shopped for gifts from both Jackie’s and David’s wish lists. Nathan dressed up as an elf and personally delivered the gifts to Jackie.

Jackie received her gifts as well as David’s so she could be a part of his special Christmas and deliver them herself. Jessica the Elf helped prove that dreams do come true while reminding us all what the true meaning of Christmas is really about.

Santa’s Answering Service is open seasonally from December 1st to December 24th. Santa’s elves have begun preparing even more joyful experiences for the 2012 holiday season.
